NASES EXECUTIVES, OTHER STAKEHOLDERS PAY COURTESY VISIT TO THE HEAD OF DEPARTMENT

Team Transformation, led by Staff Adviser I, Dr. Abodunrin, and Staff Adviser II, Mrs. Adeleke, paid a courtesy visit to the Head of Department, Prof. A.F. Komolafe, alongside other stakeholders on Monday, 24th March.
Others in attendance were SPECSF President, Olarinde Blessing; Editor-in-Chief of Spemedia Organization, Olufokunbi Charity; and MSSN Special Education Representative, Akinade Aminat. The DCC Chairperson, ASEEC Chairperson, and NASES L&D President were absent.
The meeting commenced with an address from the Staff Adviser I, stating the reason for the meeting, followed by an introduction of the executive members and stakeholders by the President of the association, Oyekola Christianah. The HOD made a correction, stating that religion should be separated clearly from the association and that religious bodies should be distinct from the association.
He continued by congratulating everyone who had a call of duty in the society. He emphasized the need for humility and mentioned that they should not forget their primary assignment in school.
He wished them well and mentioned that on no occasion should they be rude to the lecturers. He also mentioned the need for them to dress well whenever they were to be at the department. While he was still speaking, Prof. Adelodun and Dr. Adewunmi walked into the room. The HOD introduced them and mentioned that Prof. Adelodun would be taking over as the next HOD in the next three months.
The Staff Adviser II appreciated the HOD and lecturers for their support, after which the President of the association gave her vote of thanks to the HOD and lecturers present. She also made a promise that the team would not disappoint the department as a whole. The visit ended with a photo session.
