I am Akinrinmola Christianah Olayemi popular known as Rinmola

What kind of business do you do ma?

Cakes and confectionaries sir.

You bake cakes with schooling at the same time?

Yes sir.

When did you started your baking business?

Let me say 2020 because I started learning baking since June 2020 and before September, I have started baking by myself.

How do you manage baking and schooling together?

Well let me just say determination, passion and focus.

Do you offer training services for students who wishes to learn baking from you?

For now, no cos I do most of my baking in my room.

Is it advisable for students to go into entrepreneurship? If yes, how can they do it without affecting their primary goal in school?

Yes. Before accepting any business offer, know when you have lectures and when you don't. It's not necessary to accept all business offer to make your own money so you don't depend on others. More so, Rome is not build in a day, you don't wait till you finish school before establishing yourself. Also, make important schedules in your time, read and pray.

What challenges do you face as a student entrepreneur?

Insufficient time. I have to shuffle between lectures and business.

What actually keeps you going despite all odds?

Determination/family.

Give us your advice for student entrepreneur?

No matter the situation never give up and put your best in whatsoever you do. Do not despise small beginnings.

THE DEPARTMENT OF SPECIAL EDUCATION HELD HER FRESHERS' ORIENTATION ON 22ND MAY, 2025, AT A202 IN THE FACULTY OF EDUCATION OLD BUILDING.

By Charity Olufokunbi.  The Department of Special Education held her freshers orientation on the May 22, 2025, at A202 in the Faculty of Education old building. Key attendees included the Head of Department, Professor A.F. Komolafe, Dr. U.S. Udeme, Mrs. Adenike Akanni, and Professor Osisanya.  The event commenced at 10:37 AM with Miss Olaleye Suliyat, the department's academic director, moderating the ceremony. In her opening remarks, Miss Suliyat welcomed the freshmen and introduced esteemed guests, including Dr. Abodunrin and Mrs. Adeleke, the staff advisors. The ceremony proceeded with the recitation of the national anthem, school anthem, and the department's anthem. The department's president, Miss Oyekola Christianah, delivered a welcome address, expressing appreciation to the lecturers and encouraging freshmen to be open-minded and adaptable.. THE DEPARTMENT OF SPECIAL EDUCATION HOLDS A WELCOME BACK PROGRAM FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES ON SEPTEMBER 10TH

By Gbadero, Rukaya Abike The Department of Special Education holds a welcome back program for persons with disabilities on 10th September, 2025, at Room 33 in the Faculty of Education, New Building. Key attendees included the host of the program, Mr. Adeyinka Adewole (SUG 2021/2022 President), the former NASES President, and the executives of the department. The event commenced at exactly 11:30 AM with Miss Olaleye Suliyat, the department's Academic Director, giving the opening remarks, while Miss Oguh Precious took over as the M.C of the program. Miss Precious welcomed all students present, both from the department and other departments. She also introduced the esteemed guests: the former SUG President, the former NASES President (2023/2024), and the host, Mr. Adeboye Temidayo.
