WISH WE KNOW THE VALUE OF A SECOND

 By: Olamide Akolawole

Wish we know the value of a second,

We should have known success comes so easy.

Only you know, care and care not what the time says,

You will go on an ace pace.

There awaiting you,

A seat only for you to occupy,

There no one can take your place,

No one can replace your face.

Listen to the Psalmist,

Not only the sound of their melody,

But the breeze of the lyrics,

And the hidden secret in the beat.

It’s telling you not to wait,

A time waste is lose,

A second not use is gone,

Be focus as the shot of a gun.

Use this as your calculator,

Know what you want to do,

Anything else do not do,

If you want to have a party, don’t work,

If you want to walk, don’t run.
