Indeed, She's a poetess 
It's obvious she's a poetess
Unless you are a poet
A poet that need to woo her

Don't woo a poetess 
She'll fall your hands with literary terms 
Literary terms she use in writing 
Writing words in lies to keep you in line 
In line just to make you smile

Don't woo a poetess
She will break your heart to writing 
Writing thy break bond with her lover
Her lover that seems to be thy pen
Thy pen that has always rescued her to bed 
To bed where thou feel the relief
The relief of after love with her eternity 
Her eternity that showcases lab effort to never end

Don't woo a poetess
Unless you are a poet
For unless you be a poet
As she's wounded to behold 
Deep in her heart that makes her write
Makes her write to showcases an emotional writer
An emotional writer that needs a poet to heal
Heal scar with thy both words of life

 

Don't woo a poetess
She belongs to a different world 
For a different world of imagination in breath
In breath along with her pen on bed 
On bed she takes to replace you 
Unless you are a poet


Don't woo a poetess
Unless you are a poet
Else fall in love with her words
Her words to see to bed of roses 
Her words that comes from different world 
Different world that when realize is a choice
Unless you are a poet You marry a poetess
A choice you choose to travel with in an uncountable moods 
Uncountable moods that depict when happy or that
Happy or that is a choice you choose if not a poet
Unless you are a poet
You marry a poetess

NASES EXECUTIVES, OTHER STAKEHOLDERS PAY COURTESY VISIT TO THE HEAD OF DEPARTMENT

Komolafe, alongside other stakeholders on Monday, 24th March.  Others in attendance were SPECSF President, Olarinde Blessing; Editor-in-Chief of Spemedia Organization, Olufokunbi Charity; and MSSN Special Education Representative, Akinade Aminat. The DCC Chairperson, ASEEC Chairperson, and NASES L&D President were absent.  The meeting commenced with an address from the Staff Adviser I, stating the reason for the meeting, followed by an introduction of the executive members and stakeholders by the President of the association, Oyekola Christianah. THE DEPARTMENT OF SPECIAL EDUCATION HELD HER FRESHERS' ORIENTATION ON 22ND MAY, 2025, AT A202 IN THE FACULTY OF EDUCATION OLD BUILDING.

By Charity Olufokunbi.  The Department of Special Education held her freshers orientation on the May 22, 2025, at A202 in the Faculty of Education old building. Key attendees included the Head of Department, Professor A.F. Komolafe, Dr. U.S. Udeme, Mrs. Adenike Akanni, and Professor Osisanya.  The event commenced at 10:37 AM with Miss Olaleye Suliyat, the department's academic director, moderating the ceremony. In her opening remarks, Miss Suliyat welcomed the freshmen and introduced esteemed guests, including Dr. Abodunrin and Mrs. Adeleke, the staff advisors. The ceremony proceeded with the recitation of the national anthem, school anthem, and the department's anthem. The department's president, Miss Oyekola Christianah, delivered a welcome address, expressing appreciation to the lecturers and encouraging freshmen to be open-minded and adaptable.. THE DEPARTMENT OF SPECIAL EDUCATION HOLDS A WELCOME BACK PROGRAM FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES ON SEPTEMBER 10TH

By Gbadero, Rukaya Abike The Department of Special Education holds a welcome back program for persons with disabilities on 10th September, 2025, at Room 33 in the Faculty of Education, New Building. Key attendees included the host of the program, Mr. Adeyinka Adewole (SUG 2021/2022 President), the former NASES President, and the executives of the department. The event commenced at exactly 11:30 AM with Miss Olaleye Suliyat, the department's Academic Director, giving the opening remarks, while Miss Oguh Precious took over as the M.C of the program. Miss Precious welcomed all students present, both from the department and other departments. She also introduced the esteemed guests: the former SUG President, the former NASES President (2023/2024), and the host, Mr. Adeboye Temidayo.
