SPECIAL EDUCATION STUDENT RECEIVES HEARING AIDS COURTESY OF A FOUNDATION

A 300 level student of Special Education, Adebayo Abiola (Funwontan) as well as another student from Computer Science department have benefitted from a Free Hearing Aid Mission that took place yesterday, 23rd September courtesy of a partnership between Starkey Hearing Foundation and Hearmax Initiative.

The event was held at the International Institute for Tropical Agriculture field where representative from Starkey Hearing Foundation as well as Hearmax Initiative were present.

According to Funwontan, he got informed of this wonderful event through a post-graduate student of the department, Pelumi Akinbode who indirectly works with Starkey Hearing Foundation . Other post graduate students volunteered at the event as well and at the end of it, Funwontan was lucky enough to get hearing aids worth millions, completely free of charge.
