Its genres here and there that showcases the role of poetry on Nation

Here comes the beauty of poetry on a nation
On a nation that has played significant role in shaping and reshaping of MAN in his physical environment
Physical environment that aftermath of oppression and being caged for industrial use stoops to call for social change
Social change as power of poetry depict on nation
On a nation for spoken and written to merge nations

Here comes the beauty of poetry on Nation
On a nation that embraces its cultural heritage and snap to its linguistic diversity
Its linguistic diversity of great connectivity on head across
On head across of a nation find hope of aspiration
Hope of aspiration to succeed in all angles
Angles of wings in which a nation lies on poetry
On poetry to breathe in and out of its style
Its style where a nation find expression to give voice of the hopes in betterment of what profit in loss?

Here comes the beauty of poetry on a nation
On a nation of how can thy struggle and gloat of a nation be beautifully vocalize without poetry?
Poetry that place a nation on poetry

A Nation On The Wings Of Poetry
Of poetry seek its progenitor to scrutinise a home
A home of a nation lying magnanimously with poetry
With poetry in an open arm of large hearts to hold no grudges

Of poetry as tool to understand thy world
Thy World to show beauty of poetry on a nation
On a nation to thee words appreciated and cherished for service
For service to express the deepest emotions to thy human soul
Hear thy beauty of poetry on a nation
On a nation to breeze out like the tattered kite
Tattered kite of nations in merge of magnanimous 
Hear thy beauty of poetry on a Nation.

NASES EXECUTIVES, OTHER STAKEHOLDERS PAY COURTESY VISIT TO THE HEAD OF DEPARTMENT

By Charity Olufokunbi  Team Transformation, led by Staff Adviser I, Dr. Abodunrin, and Staff Adviser II, Mrs. Adeleke, paid a courtesy visit to the Head of Department, Prof. A.F. Komolafe, alongside other stakeholders on Monday, 24th March.  Others in attendance were SPECSF President, Olarinde Blessing; Editor-in-Chief of Spemedia Organization, Olufokunbi Charity; and MSSN Special Education Representative, Akinade Aminat. The DCC Chairperson, ASEEC Chairperson, and NASES L&D President were absent.  The meeting commenced with an address from the Staff Adviser I, stating the reason for the meeting, followed by an introduction of the executive members and stakeholders by the President of the association, Oyekola Christianah. THE DEPARTMENT OF SPECIAL EDUCATION HELD HER FRESHERS' ORIENTATION ON 22ND MAY, 2025, AT A202 IN THE FACULTY OF EDUCATION OLD BUILDING.

By Charity Olufokunbi.  The Department of Special Education held her freshers orientation on the May 22, 2025, at A202 in the Faculty of Education old building. Key attendees included the Head of Department, Professor A.F. Komolafe, Dr. U.S. Udeme, Mrs. Adenike Akanni, and Professor Osisanya.  The event commenced at 10:37 AM with Miss Olaleye Suliyat, the department's academic director, moderating the ceremony. In her opening remarks, Miss Suliyat welcomed the freshmen and introduced esteemed guests, including Dr. Abodunrin and Mrs. Adeleke, the staff advisors. The ceremony proceeded with the recitation of the national anthem, school anthem, and the department's anthem. The department's president, Miss Oyekola Christianah, delivered a welcome address, expressing appreciation to the lecturers and encouraging freshmen to be open-minded and adaptable.. THE DEPARTMENT OF SPECIAL EDUCATION HOLDS A WELCOME BACK PROGRAM FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES ON SEPTEMBER 10TH

By Gbadero, Rukaya Abike The Department of Special Education holds a welcome back program for persons with disabilities on 10th September, 2025, at Room 33 in the Faculty of Education, New Building. Key attendees included the host of the program, Mr. Adeyinka Adewole (SUG 2021/2022 President), the former NASES President, and the executives of the department. The event commenced at exactly 11:30 AM with Miss Olaleye Suliyat, the department's Academic Director, giving the opening remarks, while Miss Oguh Precious took over as the M.C of the program. Miss Precious welcomed all students present, both from the department and other departments. She also introduced the esteemed guests: the former SUG President, the former NASES President (2023/2024), and the host, Mr. Adeboye Temidayo.
