There were 8 items in your manifesto and to the best of my knowledge, only one has been accomplished so far which is the spontaneous meal.What are the plans for the rest of your manifesto and when can we hope to see it in action?

Access to the toilet was done. (There were conditions to that)
 Health help was also there. Thee are sanitary towels in the secretariat and tissue, which will be replaced as used or when finished
The umm charging station has not been so feasible because there hasn’t been word if we are fully moving or not and if the secretariat will be maintained in that building or not. The other activities are for 2nd semester

What are the conditions attached to the toilet usage? Also for both toilet and health help, was the information passed across to students?
And how many students have benefited from there sanitary towels so far?

Word of the week, that has been tough, to be honest. I remember during the week. But I plan to properly schedule it from Monday
Conditions for the toilet was that it will be maintained. But lack of water made it close.
Usually if you ask for the key in the child’s clinic you’ll be granted

I’m not certain the information on health help was passed. But I’ll reinstate it.

It was your manifesto....does that not make passing the information your responsibility?

I believe so.

So to be certain, did you send any information across the sanitary towels and tissue are available for students?

On the nases group, no. But to people and females as many times I could remember, yes.

I see. So will that situation be remedied? Perhaps through a more thorough publication?

Can you paraphrase this? So I can properly understand the question?

Will there be a more intensive publicity on that aspect so that all or almost all female students become aware that they can come to the secretariat if they're in need of emergency sanitary towels or tissue?

I’ll properly communicate it to the masses before the day ends and continuously reinforce it as many times as possible.

You mentioned the rest of your plans will come up in second semester, is there a timeline for that?
Fun educational activities and student of the month in particular

Plans are being made towards that. The first step was to make sure everyone first settles in for resumption and people have resumed. 
So far, I have created a group for planning and people will have audition to join because of how delicate the activities are. Plans to reach out to other department heads are also put in action plus words for the spelling activities.
For student of the month, it hasn’t been done before. I’ve been putting in a lot of though and work on criteria.  When I say ohhh this criteria, it’s not feasible, because people can match one, and fall short on the rest. I have been interviewing selected truthful students to tell you about the person or students.

Yes, by Gods grace, with Him keeping me and providing, the activities on my manifesto will be fulfilled. The president has been fully supportive and I bless heaven for her. 
I also plead students cooperation with paying their dues on time

THE DEPARTMENT OF SPECIAL EDUCATION HELD HER FRESHERS' ORIENTATION ON 22ND MAY, 2025, AT A202 IN THE FACULTY OF EDUCATION OLD BUILDING.

By Charity Olufokunbi.  The Department of Special Education held her freshers orientation on the May 22, 2025, at A202 in the Faculty of Education old building. Key attendees included the Head of Department, Professor A.F. Komolafe, Dr. U.S. Udeme, Mrs. Adenike Akanni, and Professor Osisanya.  The event commenced at 10:37 AM with Miss Olaleye Suliyat, the department's academic director, moderating the ceremony. In her opening remarks, Miss Suliyat welcomed the freshmen and introduced esteemed guests, including Dr. Abodunrin and Mrs. Adeleke, the staff advisors. The ceremony proceeded with the recitation of the national anthem, school anthem, and the department's anthem. THE DEPARTMENT OF SPECIAL EDUCATION HOLDS A WELCOME BACK PROGRAM FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES ON SEPTEMBER 10TH

By Gbadero, Rukaya Abike The Department of Special Education holds a welcome back program for persons with disabilities on 10th September, 2025, at Room 33 in the Faculty of Education, New Building. Key attendees included the host of the program, Mr. Adeyinka Adewole (SUG 2021/2022 President), the former NASES President, and the executives of the department. The event commenced at exactly 11:30 AM with Miss Olaleye Suliyat, the department's Academic Director, giving the opening remarks, while Miss Oguh Precious took over as the M.C of the program. Miss Precious welcomed all students present, both from the department and other departments.
