Is There Unity In The Equity Team?

By Aishat Bello
The secret formula for any working system is a collaborative effort from all its subsystem. This means that everyone must play their parts for things to run smoothly. However in the executive arm of NASES, such does not seem to be the case.

In an ongoing series of interviews with members of the executive cabinets, there seem to be a worrisome trend. About three executives have attributed one or more failings to poor publicity. Through further questioning, it was discovered that these executives were running the publicity on their own which begs the question; is there no unity in the Equity Team?

The P.R.O should be in charge of publicity, passing relevant information to NASESITES in collaboration with other executives as needed. Should we say that the other executives are excluding the P.R.O whether on purpose or pure oversight? Or should we say that the P.R.O himself is not interested in collaborating with his fellow executives?

The press after reaching out to the P.R.O did not get any clear answer that points to the root of the problem, rather a half-baked attempt to mitigate the situation by offering apologies and promising to look inwards and do better.

It is therefore our wish to remind the executives that whilst each has his/her constitutional duties as well as promises to be fulfilled, a car cannot run well if any of its part is compromised. Moving forward, the Equity Team should keep in mind that they're a team; not just individuals working separately-together.
