Language Of Clothing*(My Hijab)

( How You Dress Is The Way You Will Be Addressed`)

Thy embrace civilization
All mourn the consequences
That depict a society where fashion speaks,
Conductive codes were recited to our hearing
And likewise we're lessoned from the cradle that our feet were set
How to nuture this sensitive body
Our bodies are secured and free
From the idle "eyes of the devil"
The way you dress can shape your fate.

The teachings never for once slip my left hand
To be and not to be that's the question
To cover or not to cover make the question speaks,
And sets the tone of how you will relate
In midst of those that espouse to the jingling of the tail
The tail of civilization that seems nothing to write home.

Some say it is modesty, Some say it is choice,
But for the hijab, there is no reprieve.
It's a symbol of faith and a sacred voice,
An expression of what we believe.

Some may criticize and cast judgment's eye,
But in the end it's not their call.
Our style is ours and it is adorable to comply
That our love for HIJAB is Indelible
On the path leading to holy we espouse.
