SPE vs KHE; Commotion as Spectators Cry Foul During Match
By Aishat Bello
The female football match played between Human Kinetics and Special Education today, 15th of February was halted for several minutes when spectators cried foul during the second half of the match.
This outcry occurred when players from the KHE team claimed to have scored a goal because the ball was over the goal line while spectators and supporters of Special Education insisted that the goalkeeper already had the ball in her hands outsiders of the goal line while the other team kicked at the ball about 3 times which was a foul.
The referee however ruled it as a goal for KHE bringing the score to 1:1, this decision led to an outburst which disrupted the match for several minutes.
After a while, the match resumed during which KHE scored two additional goals and an own goal from SPE. The match ended with the teams still not in agreement with the rulings from the referee.
