WE ALL BLEED DIFFERENTLY

By Oguh Nmesoma Precious

To Williams, loosing his mum was loosing all. However, Tominsin believes there's not a pain compared to how he feels about losing his job. Ireti weeps all day, brooding about being unable to bear a child, but Titi thinks there's nothing compared to having a carry-over in a course.

Life's saga hits everyone in different shades, so you never know what shade the person next to you is experiencing. Most times we think we go through the worst, but Titi shining her teeth doesn't mean life's been sweet.

I cry, you cry, we all do cry at some point. However, no one fully understands the pain of others even though we claim and sometimes think we do. Ever thought about how much hurt and pain you feel at the recall of certain experiences? Or how much anger you feel towards that situation that makes you feel so incapacitated?

Who knows, Tunde might just be feeling the same way about his own issues. And though his mode of venting might be different, still he hurts. We need not trivialize the pain of others, for the weights we be bear differ.

Learn emotional validation. Know that while some mask their pain, others may carry their pains on their sleeves. You know not for sure the weight of another's pain.

For We Bleed Differently!
